We spent all this time, exploring all of these leads, and it turned out that our prime suspect couldn’t possibly be the culprit behind the mercenary’s murder. But does that mean we wasted our time?
No. Not at all. In investigating this case, we have touched the lives of many people, and done our share of good and virtuous deeds. We may not have made a dent in the core political turmoils that keep Revachol in the sorry state it’s in now, but the people in Martinaise are better off for our involvement in their lives.
And it looks like more trouble is brewing on the horizon before we go back to the drawing board.
