Acharky is back with us, and with a new game for The Marvelous Duo. Hearkening back to the beat-em ups of old, this is Marvel Cosmic Invasion.

This was a fun game to stream, and mostly because it’s so rare to get a classic 2D beat’em up like this. I’m not well versed enough in the genre to tell you why Cosmic Invasion feels good in my hands, but I know that it does.
That said, part of it is that the voice cast was picked with a certain eye for nostalgia, given that many of the actors are simply reprising their roles from other games and old cartoons. The video Acharky sent me after our stream covers that well.
Hearing old Wolverine was a real trip, and it’s good to see that attention to detail applied where possible.
