Given how adamant I was that Ape Escape should stay in the past, I’m surprised to find myself thinking that Sony could plausibly come back to do another Ape Escape game if they were smart about the way they modernized it. I still think it’d be better for them to do something new, but there’s a timeless quality to this game that still holds up to a more modern lens, even if it has some glaring flaws to it.
But we’re not quite done yet. We might as well give some of those mini-games we’ve unlocked a good college try before moving onto the next game on my list.
