It didn’t take us long to join the ranks of organized crimes. One bad day, and we already have the trust of multiple mafiosos.

What I find interesting about Tommy is the ways that he directly contrasts with Enzo from The Old Country. Where Enzo was motivated first by simple base needs, Tommy joined up purely to get revenge on the people who ruined his ride. Where Enzo is slowly integrated into the gang, Tommy is fairly quick to ingratiate himself with the Don.
Part of that is because Hangar 13 was adapting and remastering a PS2 game, the first entry in the Mafia franchise. As Andre notes, another part of that is that we’re working out of Chicago, a major city, rather than the Sicilian countryside.Things move faster in massive cities than in smaller communities. While this is a bit “Guy who has only seen The Boss Baby” energy, that’s inevitable given my experience with the series.
And yet, despite all of this, I still find myself, somehow, on a fucking race track.
