And here we go. Now it’s time to start killing off all the major players, to prove that a life of crime will inevitably catch up to the person who lived it. Actions have consequences, and often those consequences cannot be escaped.

If it can be said that the Mafia games have a central thesis tying them together, this would be it. Hardly a novel message, but a valuable one all the same.
