The old Tommy and Sarah models look strange to me, but since they only exist for the ending I’ll let them pass.
Overall though, I have similar feelings here that I did for The Old Country. And yet, shocking no one, I would claim that The Old Country is both a better game and a better story. Enzo is a more compelling character than Tommy, with his own nuances and motivations. And while the shooting in both games is comparable, there’s more driving here in Mafia: Definitive Edition, and most of it isn’t as good as it could be due to period-accurate vehicle handling. Hopefully as we move forward in time, that will change.
Next time, we’ll begin Mafia 2: Definitive Edition.
