Mafia 2: Definitive Edition – Part 3-8

Re-watching this in the editing booth, it occurs to me that this ending is abrupt. There’s nothing inherently wrong with it, and they do address most of the relevant lingering plot lines. And yet, I can’t help but get the impression that they were pressed at the end, either for time or money, and had to ship the game out the door. I would’ve preferred a finale with more impact than this, but that likely just wasn’t in the cards.

I’m a little nervous about playing Mafia 3, since it is an open world game in the more Ubisoft-ian sense, but we’ll see how it goes. Until next time!
