At last, we’re in the finale of Zero Parades For Dead Spies.

Watching this again, I’m astounded at how little fanfare or spectacle there is around these scenes. We’re being moved from set-piece to set-piece, without being given a chance to breathe.
I can almost see the budget running out, and the need to ship something drawing ever closer. The plot is all here, and it’s all functional. It’s just missing that extra dash of theme or connective tissue to make it sing.
Considering the pedigree, that’s a true shame.
