If First Light was going to reference any boss fight from any series, with the mechanics it has available to it, the Mr. Freeze boss fight from Arkham City was the best one to take queues from.
I will freely admit that this fight with one of the assassin twins isn’t as polished or refined as the original Mr. Freeze boss fight it was inspired by, but it’s a reasonable impression. It’s simple, but it sells the concept of a boss learning and adapting to us as we fight, forcing us to switch our tactics around.
There’s already a solid foundation of stealth gameplay to work with, which is largely why something like this is possible.
