We’ve made considerable progress with capturing the remaining monkeys, and we shall continue to do so in this episode of Ape Escape.

I knew that the Magic Punch boxes existed to ensure there were monkeys that could not be captured until we finished Specter Land, so that we couldn’t go into the finale with all monkeys captured.
However, I didn’t realize until this recording session that those boxes only show up in the boss levels, where the objective is to “Go Catch Specter”. Not only do they stop us from catching every monkey in the game, but specifically they make us go through the boss stages a second time if we want a full clear.
It’s honestly a clever solution to that problem.
