I’ve already spoken before about my thoughts regarding the conspiracy theory kitchen soup of Assassin’s Creed’s lore and how poorly it has aged, so I’ll not belabor the point again.
What I will say is that I like the relationship between Edward and Kidd. There’s a believable way in which that interact, both looking to work with other on a professional level despite the clear differences they share in philosophy. Each of them view each other from a lens of both respect and annoyance, and you see that play out in ways that fit both characters.
We’ll get into it later, but this serves as a great catalyst for Edward’s character arc for the rest of the game to come.
