Acharky sent me the video he was talking about regarding Jean Gray being useless, shortly after we wrapped up recording. Apparently it wasn’t that difficult for him to find.
And in turns out the movie Acharky and I were struggling to remember was Eternals. I don’t know whether to be embarrassed that I simply wasn’t able to remember it or take that as some kind of sign that the MCU left me behind a long time ago.
Still, games like this remind me that there’s still a lot of potential in Marvel if one is willing to long beyond and past the MCU. I enjoy these works that explore sides of the Marvel canon that most people aren’t aware of.
