Far more important is the way that Bond and Greenway play off each other both in these scenes and in the ones from prior episodes. They both push and support each other despite their extreme differences in worldview and experience. And of course, neither one of them would have been capable of getting this far on their own.
It’s basic storytelling, but so many people get basic storytelling wrong that it’s worth shouting out.
