Mafia 3: Definitive Edition – Part 1-4
Well, we’ve been handed as good an excuse as any to go on a roaring rampage of revenge. We might as well use it.

The amount of “open world busywork” compared to other games in the series was the reason I was so hesitant to play Mafia 3 for the longest time, but these missions have been a ton of fun so far. There’s a good balance between stealth and direct combat, allowing us to blend and swap between the two styles as the needs of the objective change. And ironically, the more simplified melee system on display here is more fun for me, watching as Lincoln effortlessly destroys low level mobsters who are simply no match for him in a brawl.
If this keeps up, we’ll be having a great time through the rest of our adventures in New Bordeaux.
