I’m more than a little embarrassed that for all the thinking I’ve put into this game, it never once occurred to that a certain segment of the gaming population would be angry about Mafia 3 specifically because it is “woke”. My life is so far removed from that type of person that they don’t enter my calculus, which is probably for the best.
It’s their loss in the end. For all my foibles with Mafia 3, the reason I’ve kept playing it is because I’m having a good time with it. And I will continue to do so.
