Additionally, Dan Olson’s video on Beast Studios came out the day before we recorded this session. It is absolutely worth your time.
Going back to Mafia 3, what stands out to me is the Sal isn’t written as a card carrying egomaniacal villain the way he could have been. He’s undoubtedly a bad person, far from the type that normal people should ever associate with, but there’s an implied depth there carrying by his actor and animators.
You don’t forget, even through all of this, that he’s a person too.
