Thick As Thieves – Part 4
Now that we’ve seen most of what Thick As Thieves has to offer, let us try that Master Thief difficulty one more time, and proceed to final thoughts.
Streamed on my Twitch channel.
There is no doubt that the game, in its current state, is bare bones, with only a few characters and a few maps. The PvPvE that served as the original selling point is gone, in favor of a most basic 2-player PvE co-op structure. Even the story is mostly explained between missions through text, and isn’t complete.
All of this would be a problem for me, if the game was being sold at full retail price. At the time of writing, and the time of my purchase, it is $5. It is slightly more expensive than a coffee at Starbucks. Even if this was nothing else is in the works for Thick As Thieves, I am happy with what I got for the price I paid.
That said, the devs appear to have plans for additional content. Who knows, perhaps when a major update comes along with new characters and/or maps, we can find ourselves back here ready to play them.
If you, like me, are a fan of Dishonored and/or Thief, please give it a shot.
