Ultimate Spider-Man – Part 2-2
Surely now, at the end of the game, we won’t be wasting a ton of time on Quick-Time Events. That would be miserable.

I cut at least 20 minutes worth of failing QTEs from combined from this episode and the last. I was getting quite heated about it, so I feel no shame cutting that out of the final video.
That said, I am still glad that we played this on stream. In fact, I think I’ll keep in on my computer so that I can wander around the city as Venom, as I did for so many hours as a kid. Outside of my struggles with QTEs, it was a ton of fun to come back to it after all this time.
I don’t have much to say about it’s story. It’s functional, tying set pieces together into something that works as a coherent narrative. But there’s not much more to it than that. The real draw is the open world, which we did thankfully get a taste of.
And with The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction, we’ll get yet another delicious helping of PS2-era open world.
